As a food additive, is used as the buffer; Curing agent; Chelating agent; Nutritional supplements. According to China's ministry of health issued "hygiene standards of using food nutrition fortifier" (1993) regulation, can be used for grains and its products, beverages, its dosage, 18 and 38 g kg.
